Graphic Solutions Network was founded in 1998 by Evans Hand in Lancaster, Ohio. At age 13, Evans began to work in the printing industry as the janitor at Huls Printing Company. He would spend the next 20 years working his way up through nearly every role in the company before being named President.

 

Huls experienced great success under Evans' leadership printing business forms for several of the large insurance companies based in Columbus, Ohio throughout the 1980s and early 1990s. As the digital revolution began to disrupt the printing industry, Evans had a vision of offering an extensive range of services to meet the customers' needs. That is when he decided to sell his company.

 

Evans worked with the company that bought Huls to ensure the establishment of his accounts. Ultimately Evans found he needed more autonomy along with the ability to determine his future based on his own ideas and business philosophy. That is why he founded Graphic Solutions Network.

 

The idea was to bring several printing companies with varied capabilities and specialties together under one identity. His vision was that of an all-star team with each player the best at his position. Evans used the connections formed by a lifetime in the industry to assemble a championship team of partner companies and began expanding his accounts by offering new products and services.

 

Today, Evans is the most fulfilled he has ever been in his career. He has the freedom to build his business the way he sees fit and delivering top-tier service to his customers. The Graphic Solutions Network has experienced continued growth by expanding into digital marketing, warehousing, and fulfillment sectors adjacent to the printing industry. Graphic Solutions Network is entering a new era where it is offering its resources to small and medium-sized printing companies to enable them to survive and thrive in the fast-changing landscape of the printing industry.
